The Crossroads Center has been serving the Cincinnati community for almost 70 years providing behavioral health, substance abuse, and addiction recovery services to thousands of Cincinnati’s most vulnerable citizens.  At the same time, the Freestore Foodbank has been providing over 33 million meals each year in the Tristate. We are excited to announce a new partnership between these two great institutions that will further the missions of both and extend services to an even greater audience.

The partnership between The Crossroads Center and the Freestore Foodbank will provide a free holiday meal, at both Thanksgiving and Christmas, to the residential clients of the Chaney Allen and Adult Residential Care (ARC) programs at The Crossroads Center. The Chief Executive Officer of The Crossroads Center, Jamahal C. Boyd, Sr. said, “This new partnership will ensure that our residents and team will have a home-cooked meal, prepared with love on Thanksgiving and it will also provide a new commitment of the same on Christmas!  This is a wonderful win for all partnering agencies and our clients.”  We received this feedback from one of our team members, "The Thanksgiving meal turned out perfect.  The Clients and the Behavioral Health Therapists had a good time.  We had a ball."

The Crossroads Center believes that we can do more together than we can as individual agencies, so this partnership is one of many that are in place to help serve the Cincinnati community and more partnerships are being discussed.  If you’d like to explore a partnership with The Crossroads Center contact David Hood – the Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at david.hood@thecrossroadscenter.org.
