We are excited to announce the appointment of Bob Mecum, as the chairman of the board of trustees. Bob has been a valued member of our board for years and we are thrilled that he has agreed to take on this new challenge.
If Bob’s name seems familiar it’s because he was president and CEO of Lighthouse Youth and Family Services for more than 40 years and is highly regarded in the community. Lighthouse is a nationally recognized innovator in services for families in crisis, foster care and adoption, mothers and babies, homeless youth and young adults, delinquent youth, and youth learning to become self-sufficient. When Bob joined the agency it was serving 16 children. Under his leadership the agency grew and thrived to becoming a multi-service agency that serves children and families across the state. Bob now runs his own organizational and leadership consulting service.
Bob even served as interim CEO of The Crossroads Center as well as Interim CEO of the Center for Addiction Treatment.
“We are thrilled that Bob was willing to take on this new leadership role with The Crossroads Center,” noted Jamahal C. Boyd, Sr., CEO of The Crossroads Center. “He has demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing The Crossroads Center’s mission of providing, comprehensive behavioral healthcare in a holistic manner, assuring access and quality to our diverse clients.”
