We recently hosted a ceremony to honor our 27 patients and clients who have recently completed the requirements of the Adult Residential Care (ARC) and Chaney Allen residential programs.
After opening the ceremony with a prayer, our CEO, Jamahal C. Boyd, Sr. shared words of advice and encouragement for our recent graduates and family members in attendance.

“Even if you make a mistake, it’s alright,” said Jamahal C. Boyd, Sr. “Because we are here to help you with that mistake. Don’t ever feel like you’re alone. That’s what we’re here for, and that’s what we’ve always been here for.”
Before the certificate presentation, we were privileged to hear special words from Ernestine Hill, Crossroads Center alumna, and Jennifer Summers and Joe Griffith, two current graduates.
“I reached out to The Crossroads Center and told them I needed help,” said Jennifer Summers. “I was welcomed with open arms… I am forever grateful for Crossroads and the Chaney Allen staff because without them and this program, God only knows where me, and my daughter, and her father would be today."
These graduation events are a visual representation of all of the graduates who have put in the hard work of completing the program, and their families who support these graduates are also recognized for their role in helping with recovery.
Special thank you to our graduates for their hard work and commitment, family and friends who attended to show their support, and residents and staff of Chaney Allen, ARV and all of The Crossroads Center programs.
